e-mail received March 26

Post by scgold on Mon Apr 21, 2008 8:43 pm

I had wired funds to The Investors Corner in July, 2006 and had received some funds returned between October, 2006 and January 2007. Since that time I have only received "promises" to pay. I had signed the Compromise Agreement in August 2007 and received nothing. Well, you all know the rest of the story or you wouldn't be here. I live in the USA and have a five figure loan to TIC.

I had received the following e-mail on March 26, 2008. I have also sent 5 e-mails responding to this particular e-mail, but I have never received a reply. Not even an acknowledgment that they had received my e-mails.

I have not attempted to call their office, but will do this before the end of April to see if there is a response.

Dear Mr.Doug Bell,

First of all please understand that this a general email sent to all our members awaiting a payment regardless of the amount and regardless of the partial payments already provided (if any).

Due to the above is possible that some of the facts mentioned here do not refer specifically to you.

The reason for this email is to make some points and clarify some situations.

1) Yes...we have not paid all the the members in full yet

2) Yes...some members have already received partial payments and some others will receive them in the coming weeks

3) All members will be paid back.

4) AsianPay Co. Ltd is open, is doing its business with a lot of difficulties but is doing it, we are not gone anywhere, the offices are open. In February we just moved to a new office located at:
224/1 Moo 2 Meahea, Muang, Chiang Mai 50000 Thailand and the move was advised by email to all our members. Our new telephone numbers are:
Phone: +66 53 111025
Fax: +66 53 111135 ext 302

5) We know we have to pay and is 8 months that we do everything we can to do that.

6) Some members, again, thought that threatening us announcing a criminal or civil claim against our Company could help. Whatever you want to think to do it is not correct. If we were disappeared maybe it could be a good solution. But being our Company open and working, these kind of threats have just the result to be harmful to our Business and to make more difficult for us to collect the money to pay.

7) AsianPay Co. Ltd has 39 shareholders and only a few of them, in particular the ones directly involved here in Chiang Mai have continued to financially support the Company with their own money sacrificing their lives to honour our liabilities. This is not to justify, is just to explain. So, when you send a threat, you threat people that are the only ones working for you to get back your money. When you threat anyone of us here with your intention to send us to jail, you try to send to jail the ones that have suffered the major losses and that are still here paying on their skin the situation and working everyday to find money and solutions. We do not want to discuss if we deserve or not to go to jail, or if a criminal charge, considering the differences in our Business from the so called SCAMS or PONZI or whatever you want to call them, is sustainable. It is not the time and the place to discuss this and what is of interest for us is just to pay you and all the other members.

Cool We know it is a long time, we know that what we say above is difficult to be agreed when you think to your money, but is just the true. Being still here, being still available at the phone and physically at the office, is what should convince you that even with a lot of troubles and delay you will get your money back.

9) TIC was not an HYIP or a PONZI. If it was, like we said many times, we were gone already instead of staying here also running the risk of possible law actions against our Company and consequently against us.

Due to all the above, please, contact us by email ASAP, send us a phone number were we can call you to directly speak with you (to save you the phone expenses) or call us at our office in working time.

Let us know what is still agreeable for you with reference to time and amount if we can guarantee in a reasonable way that you will receive your money.

Just do it, contact us and we will get back to you in 24 - 48 hours to find the best solution for you. The only thing we can not do is to pay all in a lump sum.

Please, consider that while TIC was working, and the problems were coming, and while we have always been here facing problems and everything, tens of other Business you were involved in just disappeared with your money. We never said that you deserve it, we never said it is right. Even if sometime you should admit you know the risk you run in this kind of online operations. But we always said we are different. We were different all along 2006 and up to March 2007 when all the members were always paid regularly, we have been different until now not closing the web site, not closing the Company, not changing the people in it.

This is a war that will end without winners if we fight a war, so we are still trying to not start a war but to find a solution.

We have financial information that we will disclose privately with each one of you when you will answer to us and that can help you in trusting you will get your payment back.

We look forward for your answer ASAP and to finally close all TIC matters.

Kind regards

The Board of Directors of AsianPay Co. Ltd.

hi scgold,

Thanks for sharing what you have been with TIC, I think more will share here as we know we will take actions against them if they refuse to pay us. Same with you, my situation is..they not pay me for 5 figure amount of dollars since June last year but my case is with TGE. That's why I bring this forum for us to discuss and plan what should we do if by end of this month they still not pay us.
